It seems like every time I *finally* find a pediatrician who won't harass me for my alternative choices, like not using vaccines from an abortive cell line, we have to move!
It's inspiring to hear that a new chicken pox vax is in the works, but even still that would probably only benefit my grandchildren because I think the idea of using my kids for guinea pigs on a vaccine is never gonna happen. hahaha I don't touch the rotavirus vax because of that too, just too new! That scares me!
Thanks for a great post! I'm always so afraid to post about vaccines, it can be so hot button. We skip chicken pox, Hep A and MMR. I can't handle the thought of using a killed baby to benefit my babies, but sometimes i have second thoughts that I should be protecting them and protectign society from their potential illnesses. I go back and forth......the fun of being a parent and making hard decisions :). If they make an alternate vaccine for chicken pox by the time Lucy is in kindergarten, I might think about it. I remember getting the chicken pox when I was in 1st grade. I don't remember being home for 10 days though. Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02855452637978026107noreply@blogger.com
